Spelling's not that important

See if you can read and make sense of what's written below:

"I cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg.
The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe."

The zero that your teacher gave you on the dictation should not worry you or the teacher anymore!

I had a post on this too. Isn't it great how perception and our minds work?

Phew! That at least removes some of the trauma i suffered as a kid when I spelt all my letters right and my teacher, who shall remain unnamed (but we all know her, don't we?), marked me zero coz I had started all my words with a capital letter. I feel redeemed.

Starkindler,

I'm sure your teacher feels redeemed as well.

Great to have you back on my blog, especially since yours was the blog that inspired me to write my own.

Interesting! Once I had a similar one on norwegian ~ a sms joke.

They say that`s also because our subconsciousness and our eyes works the way that we mostly read the first and last letter.
