I wrote this one a while ago. Raza's post compelled me to put it up; it is a tribute to friends who find...
Finding Me
Fearful and feared
forward I fared.
Amid amicable acquaintances
feeling fashionably friendless.
and then…
a hug, a joyful cry
and tears that were endless.
The mega miles of distance
had long lost their credence;
My friend had I found…
or perhaps he did find me!

In love or not, it is a lovely poem.
There are all kinds of love. Love of a good friend is one.

Loved the usage.
If the above comments are true, I amhappy for you. All the best :)
and if they are just assumptions, yet again the poem is beautiful, but now that's expected of you.

Khakra,Lash,
You missed my opening line:
"I wrote this one a while ago"
...but thanks anyway for those caring words.

Lovely poem. will try and get Blindness and perhaps will start 'SEEING' things better.
Great feelings behind the poem. The unexpected joy of finding someone with whom you can just be who you are is indeed awesome.

this is a sweet one...
friends are something only happiness, trust, and beauty understand....
I love the "sound" of words and especially enjoyed reading this poem aloud.
Yes it is. I've been trying for years to find a very dear friend that I lost touch with many years ago. She seems to be lost forever and it breaks my heart.
